Angela Ragusa - Books from the Award-Winning author in English & Italian
Angela Ragusa is an award winning writer and translator. Born in Taranto, Italy, and graduated with a degree in Political Science from Università degli Studi di Firenze. She worked as an editor for various Italian publishing houses and since 1993 has translated more than 300 books from English into Italian. She won the Andersen-Baia delle Favole Award for Best Translator, and her name was added on the Honour List of the International Board on Books for Young People (IBBY) for translators. In 2001 she began writing books for children and young adults and has won multiple national awards for her books in Italy.
Bill Woolf - Art books written and/or curated by author in English and Italian
Bill Woolf studied photography and art at The Ohio State University, The University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, and The School of the Art Institute of Chicago. He received a Ph.D. from Cornell University and was a practicing psychotherapist before art occupied all his life and resulted in him returning to The Florida State University for an M.F.A. in Studio Art. He taught art at the university level in both the United States and Italy arriving in Italy at the end of 1999, and was the Dean of Students at an art institute in Florence, Italy, before moving to Sardinia, where he currently lives.
